Music can be an effective tool in expression, memorization, and even healing. The Prime Hour works to create an atmosphere in the form of music therapy that provides small-group cognitive stimulation and recreation.
It can be an especially powerful experience for those who may struggle with some form of Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. The hour is filled with singing, clapping, movement, and dancing. It is an unforgettable time of reconnection, reflection, and relaxation.
